About Us
Broad-Based Experience:
Attorney-principal Timothy J. Bradl brings over three decades of legal experience to bear for the Firm’s clients. He focuses on pre-charge representation, show cause clerk’s hearings, grand jury
representation, internal investigations, criminal defense, First and Fourth Amendment Constitutional litigation, restraining orders, appeals, professional licensing matters, major personal injury matters, student university investigations under Title Nine, and crisis management / media relations.

Experience Matters:
Attorney Bradl is a former Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney, where he worked in Boston and throughout Suffolk County, investigating and prosecuting criminal cases before the Grand Jury and the Trial Court for over a decade. He was a member of the Suffolk County District Attorney & Homicide Unit and prosecuted dozens of murder cases. In addition to representing the Commonwealth in capital cases, he has handled appellate work before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Judicial Court. Additionally, Attorney Bradl supervised the prosecution of all motor-vehicle deaths in Boston and Suffolk County and served many years on the Homicide Response Team, spending countless hours going “under the yellow tape.” After eleven years as a high-level prosecutor and Chief of the Motor Vehicle Homicide Unit, Mr. Bradl resumed practicing criminal defense in 2006. He knows the prosecution playbook well, and contributed in many ways to its creation. He knows what moves a prosecutor is considering, perhaps before they realize. He brings the X-factor to any matter, anticipating the next move, speaking pointedly to prosecutors and police, and advising on a proper course to head off charges, catastrophic developments, or inadvisable courses of action.

Results:
If charges issue in a judicial or private setting, Mr. Bradl and his team are well-equipped to respond. The firm utilizes respected and renowned experts in many fields, capitalizing on professional relationships forged in battling many prior cases. The firm has worked with the best hand-picked medical, psychiatric, video, cell phone, ballistic DNA, and other experts. Every case is helmed by Attorney Bradl, who may, depending on the resources necessary, engage with other experienced litigators and paralegals as needed. Clerk-magistrate show cause hearings are a frequent focus. From small District Court matters to sexual assault, date rape charges, and first degree murder trials, Attorney Bradl has walked his clients out of the Courthouse after full, sweeping not guilty verdicts time and again.
